34 years with Halifax Fire on the trucks the entire time.I have hundreds of self contained boxes in my mind.
Great video 👍🏿
I wish they held a seminar yearly, across Canada, and made it Mandatory for all First Responders to attend. These are SO important.
its amazing to be able to sit in on sessions everyday with a legend like chris
P r o m o S M 🙂
Michael you did more than you can possibly imagine by speaking about this. You've surely helped countless people to seek help. That Stephane Richer interview was a real eye opener for me.
I love where he speaks about what works for him as therapy. For years the gym was my second home and now not so much. I love being at home with my cat and family and just reading ! I am happy to feel healed and see others healing too
Mental Health is finally getting traction in the 1st Responder Industry. Here is Episode 5 about an 18 year old female firefighter who took her life from either PTSD or anxiety, depression, bullying Teasing or all of the above. She was a senior in High School in Alma Arkansas. Here is Ep5 of her story ua-cam.com/video/_nWUdzumCSk/v-deo.htmlsi=mrXXWi_6cUIMDglm
WORKS TO EVERYONE! MUST--BLINKS--IMPERATIVE! OPEN THIS WORLD UP!
Canadian Mental Health is working to undermine the faith and rights of Christians and Muslims. The Canadian Mental Health system is actively working to undermine Christians and Muslims.
Such a lovely man to chat with this Kevin. A true angel soul. 🪽😇 🫶
Always liked Landsberg
I LOVE the humour and clever analogy!
Thank you for your story. As a fire fighter it is inspiring to hear this and we truly are not alone. God bless, Please reach if you need help.
This year 2023 I watch this video. I was a volunteer firefighter for 20 years and diagnosed in 2017 with chronic PTSD after seeing terrible things after having responded to hundreds of calls literally. That said it's what we first responders do out of a sense of duty towards our community where we live. We didn't get a penny for our service but it didn't matter to me because someone had to do it period. I will struggle the rest of my life with the memories of the terrible sights that I have seen 😖
Thank you. Ive been a medic 6 months and can totally understand what hes saying. Its an accumulative effect where stressful calls just pile up till the cup becomes full. Its like chinease water torture just one drop at a time so suttle you barley notice it untill the day you do. Im Thankful that ive got a life outside of ems and many hobbies that motivate me to keep going
It was perfect, thankyou Golnaz
THATS WHY PEOPLE SHOULD STOP WATCHING BAD NEWS AND GRAPHIC UA-cam.
Brave man, handshake to you.

That takes alot of courage. I'm very proud of you. I've had issues with alcohol too.
Who was "do¢tor" John Warno¢k, dire¢tor of the El Abbassyïa assylum for "lunati¢$", in Cairo/Egypt??
This has been my life for 6 years. Broke down crying today for no reason. It's heavy carrying this every day.
lol god help me. I went to the hospital to go to the mental ward and they fucking sent me home! can you believe that. They told me I was a drunk and to sober up. Well I'm sober now and the thoughts won't stop. fucking bastards
blinking works, between inhales--exhales
After 30 years in law enforcement I finally decided to retire. I have worked in both corrections & road patrol. I have seen a lot in both fields. After recently retiring it’s like the widows & doors have opened up on me. I seem to now be struggling w/ past experiences and can’t sleep. The on going dreams of when I arrived on scene after a friend / co-worker was shot and later died while I was helping search for his killer are on going. I have lost two other friends in the line of duty and LEO’s brothers & sisters to suicide. Since being retired I don’t leave home much. I do realize I’m struggling with all this.. however, I really appreciate your words. I still feel ashamed since I haven’t been to war. I have worked w/ many awesome ex military veterans of Iraq and Afghanistan ect. they seem fine.. yet, why am I struggling?. I feel weak & ashamed. Anyways.. I really do appreciate your honesty & video very much. Thank you for your service & for sharing your experiences. God Bless!
@@d.chiasson3307 Truly appreciate your kind words of encouragement & thoughtfulness with your response. Thank you! 🙏 Through much prayer & my faith in God things have improved significantly in my life. This could have been his way to get my attention to bring me back to where I was meant to be. All things work together for them that love the Lord. I’m thankful & feel truly blessed.
@@d.chiasson3307 Your words have encouraged me.. I thank you for that my Brother. May God continue to bless you & keep you!. Also.. thank you for your service!. 🇺🇸

Bravo! Très belle vidéo qui touche un problème criant.
Good for you so much; thank you for your super story
Good for you. Thank you for sharing your story
Good for you for sharing Chris. So many sit back in the shadows and never say anything about their PTSD let alone speak out in an attempt to help others. I hope you have continued to stay healthy and safe. God Bless brother.
Love Maggie. Very thoughtful man. Much respect.
Manny
Coming from the most mentally sadistic guy, sure, let's listen to this.

Most insurers are now upgrading their mental health offering so plan sponsors can adequately tackle the issue for their employees.
Good video!
Hello, MHCC CSMC. this is actually exciting video. thanks. :)
Great initiative!
Belle initiative!
